They did the repair and I paid 1500. > > What should have been a simple fix turned into months of back and forth repairs. Before this, my unit had no other issues. > > About a month later the replacement joystick stopped working. The technician told me I needed to replace the casing too. I bought it so we could finally fix the joystick. Even after that, it still did not work and we had to replace the joystick again. > > Then a month or two passed. I barely even played it, and now the L button stopped working right where the joystick repair was done. So I have to buy more parts and pay for repair again. > > Clarification: The casing and the first replacement joystick were my own purchase / my own choice bought separately. The second replacement joystick was from the shop. In my experience, the work was not careful. The L button cable sits right on top of the joystick assembly, so for it to fail right after that area was opened multiple times seems connected to me. The casing replacement also did not fix the joystick issue. > > This has been really frustrating for something that was supposed to be simple. The recommendation would have been based on the technician’s assessment at the time. > > We stand by our work and take legitimate service concerns seriously. At the same time, we also need to be fair to our technicians and business by distinguishing between a confirmed repair-related issue and a subsequent failure that may have another cause. > > We are willing to inspect the unit again and review the previous repair history. My old battery was three years old, and they replaced it, but from the first day, the new battery performed even worse. It barely lasted half a day, and I had to charge it two or three times daily. I returned within the seven-day warranty period, and they replaced it again, but the second battery was just as bad. It’s clear they use very poor-quality products. I wasted 1,500 pesos. I don’t recommend this shop. I thought it was just me, but after reading other reviews, it seems this place consistently provides bad service. Didn't even reach 1 year my battery was already bloated, and as you can see in the picture they only used scotch tape to hold my iphone battery! And stole the metal pieces holding the connections! Unbelievable! Charged me 1800 for it!
